Zinnias come in a plethora of shapes, sizes, and colors. These fast-growing beauties thrive in high heat with dry to well-drained soil. They are known for their long single stem and vibrant hues. Zinnias work well as companion plants, furthering other plant life when grown together. You are almost guaranteed to see butterflies making themselves at home amongst these blooms. The Italian Garden at The Cummer is home to several Zinnias, in differing shades of pink. They flourish in the heat of Florida, but rarely survive the colder weather. Come visit The Gardens and see this bloom at its peak.
