Art Fundamentals: Printmaking

Instructor William McMahan will introduce intaglio printmaking to students of all levels; no experience is required! Students will work on traditional copper plates, as many of the great printmaking masters have. An introduction to terms and techniques used in intaglio printmaking will be included, and historical examples will be presented. Students will leave this course with multiple prints pulled from both their etched plate, and a plate used for drypoint scraping.
