Floral Arranging Class at The Cummer Museum

Feb

17

As part of this year’s Community First Garden Month at The Cummer, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in a range of new and engaging programming.  On Sunday March the 16th The Cummer will host a Floral Arranging workshop with instructor Ann Evans.

Evans is the brain behind Cypress Creative Floral Design, a local company offering several services related to creative floral design, including flower deliveries, flowers for weddings and special events, and custom arrangements.  Cypress will even suggest lighting and linens to compliment the flower selections for your event.

Ann Evans first came to event planning during her time in New York and later became interested in custom floral design while living in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.  Using carefully selected flowers to create unique arrangements, Evans discovered a connection to the events industry she is passionate about.

This workshop will include all arrangement supplies, discussions on selecting the right flowers, proper stem cutting, as well as handy tricks and expert advice.  Each student will take home the masterpiece they create.  The workshop runs from 1:00 PM  –  2:30 PM.

Members $110, Non-members $125
