Join us in the Gardens for an evening of blues and jazz under the stars.* This Garden Concert will include an extra hour of music! Guests are invited to bring chairs, picnics, and beverages of choice to enjoy an evening in the Cummer Gardens. Beer, wine, sodas, and light snacks will also be available for purchase that evening.

Mama Blue and her band will kick off at 6:00pm. Mama Blue is a native of Jacksonville who graduated from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. She has a talent reminiscent of legends such as Nina Simone, Tina Turner, Etta James, and Aretha Franklin and fuses elements of blues and jazz, with hints of Motown, classical, Latin, and even a bit of country. Mama Blue will be on stage from 6 to 7:45 p.m.

Patrick Evan and his band will follow Mama Blue at 7:45 p.m. Patrick is a former Mariah Carey back-up singer and has also performed and recorded with other artists, including Michael Bolton, Chaka Khan, Brian McKnight, C & C Music Factory, and most currently, Leon Timbo. Patrick Evan will be on stage from 7:45 to 9 p.m.
