Garden Lecture Series: Jon Carloftis

NOVEMBER 5 | A DAY WITH JON CARLOFTIS

Next Wednesday’s full day of programming with Jon Carloftis has received wonderful national press from Garden & Gun Magazine and great local coverage with a wonderful interview with Jon in the latest issue of EU Jacksonville. Get excited for a special visit from the gardening guru on November 5th, with two different opportunities to hear him speak!

First, Mr. Carloftis will be speaking on “Art in the Garden.” This talk will focus on how to integrate artwork in your personal garden and how to use trees, shrubs, stones, fish, animals, etc. as art. Guests will be able to enjoy this day time talk and with a special luncheon in the recently restored Olmsted Gardens located on the picturesque St. Johns River.

During the evening, a Maker’s Mark Bourbon tasting and artful nibbles will precede another talk by Carloftis.  His evening discussion will focus on “Style in the Garden”.  We are thrilled that he will be at the Museum for a special day of art and design while celebrating the Cummer Gardens.
