Letter from the Director, Hope McMath

Hope McMath

Engaging and inspiring through the arts, gardens, and education.

As many of you are already aware, the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens recently launched a new brand.  Our motivation for this work was the feedback gathered from our Donors, Members, Volunteers, visitors, those who have not been regular participants at the Museum. The goal was to present a brand and message that reflects the energy of our programming, the diversity of our collections, the beauty of our Gardens, and the family-friendly nature of our organization.  This time last year we turned the Cummer Museum inside out with restored Gardens and a new, more accessible presence along Riverside Avenue.  We now have a brand that carries our vitality beyond our campus.  We are grateful to our partners, Wingard Creative, Harbinger, Spectrum Signs & Graphics, and Agility Press.

As we enter the busy fall season and a new fiscal year, we hope to see you often.  You will not want to miss the opening events and related programs celebrating the Icons of Style and Best Dressed exhibitions.  It is an exciting and busy time of year and we hope that the Cummer will provide you with a way to connect to friends and family, a place of respite in the chaos, and inspiration during this special season.
