Saturday is for Creating! – Spring Classes for Children

Jan

16

Do you have a special child in your life who likes to create? Give your child the gift of art by enrolling them in Saturday classes at The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens!  Art for Two and Art Adventures art classes offers your child a real studio-based art education in a museum setting promoting experimentation, exploration and creative thinking.

This month, students will create a Starry, Starry Night Cityscape Collage. After a search in the galleries for cityscapes, the students will practice strategies for comparing and contrasting artwork featured on the art history timeline in Art Connections.  They will return to the studio and create their own starry cityscape using collage techniques.
Art for Two – Saturday, January 14,    10:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon

Ages 3 – 5 with their favorite adult   Pre-registration is required.  Members $10 per pair, per class,          Non-members $15 per pair, per class
Art Adventures – Saturday, January 21, 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
