Spring into the Cummer Gardens

Mar

26

photo 2Celebrate the beautiful Cummer Gardens during the last few days of Garden Month by making a trip to the Gardens to see all the new spring blooms! The Wistera, Apple Blossom, Dogwood and Azaleas are gorgeous right now.

This Saturday, March 28th would be a perfect time to visit, as the Museum is participating in Garden Conservancy Day. Join us as part of the National Open Days photo 3Program. Make the Cummer Gardens the first stop on your tour of 4 additional private gardens in the Avondale neighborhood. A group of knowledgeable volunteers, led by Mary Watson, will be on hand in each garden throughout the day to answer your questions. The Cummer Gardens will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and all private gardens will be open from 12 to 4 p.m.

Click here to make your reservation online or you can purchase a ticket to all the participating Gardens at the front desk of the Museum on Saturday.

This event will be held rain or shine!
