Talk & Tea Lecture Series Schedule

TALKS & TEA LECTURE  SERIES INVITES YOU TO  SIT COMFORTABLY  IN THE  GALLERIES AND GARDENS OF THE  CUMMER  MUSEUM  OF ART & GARDENS  WHILE ART HISTORIANS, ARTISTS, AND OTHER  EXPERTS FACILITATE INFORMATIONAL  AND EDUCATIONAL DISCUSSIONS ON VARIOUS TOPICS RELATED TO THE MUSEUM’S  PERMANENT COLLECTION, AS WELL  AS SPECIAL  EXHIBITIONS. AT THE  CONCLUSION OF  EACH GALLERY  TALK, TEA  AND  LIGHT  REFRESHMENTS WILL  BE  SERVED FOR   THE   SOCIAL   HOUR.

Two lectures each day, beginning at 1:30 pm & 2:00 pm.  Admission is $6 per person.

February 15th & 16th  –  Impressionism and Post Impressionism from the High Museum of Art Part I

May 16th & 17th  –  Hayes Collection of Japanese Woodblock Prints

June 20th & 21st  –  The Healing Gardens

July 18th & 19th  –  Folio Weekly:  An Exploration of Contemporary Art

August 15th & 16th  –  Miradas:  Ancient Roots in Modern Mexican Art

September 19th & 20th  –  Photography of Liz Gilbert:  Images from Africa
