This year, we’ve enjoyed using our 50th Anniversary celebrations to embrace technology and push our exhibits forward. We’re proud to announce a new way for you to interact with The Cummer Museum, both in and out of the gallery: The Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens Podcast!
The new podcast talks about everything from gallery exhibitions to the stories behind the art. You can download individual podcast episodes, or subscribe to get new episodes when they become available.
In the first episode of the Cummer podcast we introduce you to podcasting and why the Cummer is using this technology to engage its visitors. After a brief overview we’ll share some exclusive information on three upcoming shows, along with some of the new ways you’ll be able to use the podcast to interact with the collection in one of our recently renovated galleries. Hope McMath, Cummer director, hosts the podcast along with Curator, Holly Keris.

What is a Podcast?
A podcast (or non-streamed webcast) is a series of digital audio files that are released episodically and often downloaded through a website. There is a wealth of podcast content available in nearly every subject, from news to storytelling, sports to movies and more. You can visit our podcast page here at blog.cummermuseum.org/podcast.
