It’s a Free for All!

Oct

30

freforall_picture Don’t forget, this Saturday is the monthly Weaver First Saturday Free for All!  The Museum is open free of charge all day, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Make sure you come by and enjoy some great music from This Frontier Needs Heroes on the Café patio.  Then, at 2 p.m. enjoy a free classical concert in the newly opened Stein Gallery, featuring fabulous works of 20th Century Art from the Museum’s permanent collection. A selection of musicians from the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra will be performing.

If you haven’t made it by to visit Icons of Style: Fashion Makers, Models and Images, take the opportunity to come and see it today. Plus, make sure to visit the sculpture garden on the front lawn of campus and soak in the beauty of the newly installed sculptures from Chaim Gross.

As you can see, the Cummer Museum always had great events going on for all ages, so why not make the Museum a part of your weekend plans?
