Written by Torrie Peterson, Marketing Intern

Move over hip-hop, step aside jazz and blues, it is time to polish up the penny loafers, dust off the poodle skirt and get ready for some old school Doo-Wop. Join us Friday, July 12th from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. for an old-fashioned Sock Hop with a DJ spinning all of your favorite oldies but goodies. Cash bar and munchies will be available for purchase. While you are here, check out the classic cars on display as part of the current exhibition, Future Retro: The Great Age of the American Automobile.

Tickets for this event are $10 for members and $15 for non-members. For more information or to make your required reservation, please call (904) 899-6038 or visit https://www.cummer.org /sock-hop.
