On Friday, January 3, 2014, we invite you to join The Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens in a fabulous partnership with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra.  The Museum will host an intimate evening concert featuring the Jacksonville Symphony string musicians in the Baroque Gallery.   Featuring works by Haydn and Mendelssohn surrounded by gorgeous art, take your senses through a journey of musical beauty.  The 90 minute concert will begin at 8pm and the musicians will be drawing musical inspiration from the four galleries surrounding them.  Take the time to peruse the galleries and soak in the beauty around you, when doors open at 7 p.m. or during intermission.  Ticket price $20 general admission seating.  Please call 904.354.5547 to make your reservation through The Jacksonville Symphony or click HERE to visit their website.

Please note:
The full Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra is not performing at this event.
