The Very Special Arts Festival (VSA Festival) is held at the Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens annually. The Cummer is home ot the Jacksonville affiliate of VSA, an international organization that provides exciting opportunities in the arts to children with disabilities. Over a four day period, nearly 2000 children with mild to severe disabilities come to the museum to explore and create in the studios, galleries, gardens, and Art Connections. During their visit, the children strengthen their social skills outside of the classroom as well as discover talents in the arts.
