The Museum’s Garden Month is right around the corner. We are so excited to kick off the festivities on Saturday, March 7 in conjunction with Weaver First Saturday Free for All! Join us on the front lawn of the Museum for a plant sale loaded with local vendors. Stop by the Community First tent for your chance to participate in a super cool community-wide art project. Swing into the the St. Johns Riverkeeper tent to hear the newest information on the River, get gardenubg tips from a Master Gardener, plus learn more about native planting from the Ixia Chapter of the Native Plant Society.
Enter into the Museum (Don’t forget, admission is FREE!) to experience the newest exhibitions, Rothko to Richter and Reflections, and stop to visit your favorite pieces in our Permanent Collection galleries as well. Stop into the Cafe for brunch (make a reservation here) before grabbing a watercolor kit from the CREATE Cart to take outside and enjoy a plein air painting experience in a sunny patch of grass. Why not take a stroll through our Historic Gardens right on the St. Johns River and see what is in bloom? It’s going to be a wonderful day of celebration with live music from Andre & Abigail and Joseph Shuck!
Festivities will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Rain or shine. Won’t you join us?
